Festival Overview

INDIEFEST!  is designed to bring together the entertainment industry and its consumer base before the holiday shopping season,  INDIEFEST! celebrates the latest developments in film, interactive content, and music and it’s not just for independents.  INDIEFEST! celebrates entertainment that’s produced out of the creative spirit of the human heart and so we welcome the full range of talent represented in the film, music, and interactive industries. For years, Central Florida has wanted a mega event for itself and now INDIEFEST! is proud to present that event to our community and yours. This year we’ll host 3 festivals: for film, music, and interactive content,  as well as an industry only film market and trade show. We offer something for everyone and a ton that’s free and family friendly. Read on for details of this year’s event and welcome to INDIEFEST!

This year we are launching a film market with press and industry only screenings. Passes are designed to include panels, workshops, and interviews, meals if you want them, a comfy lounge, a press room, a film database, and immersive entertainment. Our host site is a lush den of nature, history, and ambience that is easy to navigate. The trade show floor and screening rooms will be located intuitively in our soon to be announced convention spaces, with networking events and eating spaces among the hotel’s pool and tropical gardens. We invite you to participate as little or as much as you want as we offer a full range of business capabilities and opportunities in a state-of-the-art facility. The Market is open to industry professionals and press members only. Check back for festival dates.

Our competition film festival is open to the public and celebrates the past, present, and future of filmmaking with workshops, interviews, panels, appearances, concerts, premieres, parties, fireworks, and food. Many of our specialty screenings and celebrity interviews are free and open to the public. This year our public screenings will take place in AMC Celebration and at Lakeside Park directly across the street. A combination of free and ticketed events, this year’s festival will feature tributes to Disney animation, comedy, and the western. Independent productions will be screened alongside Hollywood classics in indoor and outdoor settings around Osceola County. Best of all,  there’s no need to drive. Just park and walk to all the public screenings and parties. We invite young and old alike and will keep festival goers informed of best bets and best fits through our site, box office, information booths, and volunteer workforce.
